AMC (Competition math)

I have qualified for the AIME six consecutive times and earned a perfect score on the AMC 8, giving me firsthand experience with competition math at a high level. I am familiar with the full AMC 8/10/12 and AIME problem sets and the strategies needed to perform well on each. I can help students build the problem-solving intuition that competition math demands, from number theory and combinatorics to algebra and geometry. Whether a student is just starting out with AMC 8 prep or pushing for AIME qualification, I can meet them where they are.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have worked with younger students in a variety of settings, including volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club in Lawrence, Massachusetts, where I taught math concepts to K-8 students in an after-school program. I also served informally as a volunteer with Sycamore's middle school math team, providing support and guidance to younger students building their math foundations. I know how to break down concepts in ways that are accessible and engaging for elementary-age learners without losing their attention. My goal with younger students is always to build confidence first, because a kid who believes they can do math will go much further than one who has just memorized the steps.
