I have tutored students one on one, in small groups, and as part of 48 person classes. When I'm working with a student to help them learn this awesome subject that is organic chemistry, my goal is to show them techniques and tools they can use to solve problems and answer questions on their own, when there is nobody nearby to help them. In this way, they can become more confident in their ability to solve problems independently. I hope to convince students that this subject is not that scary, and they can learn it with practice and hard work.
