Hello! My name is Kaleb Hammond and I'm a graduate student in the Master of Sacred Scripture program at Holy Apostles College & Seminary. I have always loved learning and helping others to learn. Although I have no formal teaching/tutoring experience yet (something I hope to remedy here!), I have helped others learn in many ways, including:

Hello! My name is Kaleb Hammond and I'm a graduate student in the Master of Sacred Scripture program at Holy Apostles College & Seminary. I have always loved learning and helping others to learn. Although I have no formal teaching/tutoring experience yet (something I hope to remedy here!), I have helped others learn in many ways, including:
-explaining lesson material to classmates when I was in grade school.
-helping my father, sister and grandmother in their RCIA catechesis lessons.
-guiding my sister in her GED studies.
-collaborating with other students in my online BA and MA programs at Holy Apostles.
Throughout these experiences, I have been told by many people that I'm a patient and understanding teacher. They can tell that my goal isn't to 'prove' I'm smarter than anyone else but to learn from and with others and to help them experience the joys of gaining knowledge and wisdom in their subjects.
I have loved books, both reading and writing, since before I knew how to do either, and this has carried over into my BA double-major in English and Theology from Holy Apostles, graduating Summa cum laude.
I have also always been what is called a 'deep thinker.' I was raised largely irreligious but eventually came into the Church through studying philosophy and world religions. This ultimately led me to my other BA double-major, Theology. I have a thorough knowledge of the Tradition of the Church, including the Church Fathers, St. Thomas Aquinas and the documents of the Magisterium, as well as Sacred Scripture. I am Catholic but I'm open to teaching Theology or Biblical Studies to any kind of Christian if they are willing to learn and grow closer to Christ with me.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. This is my first time tutoring, online or offline, and I appreciate your willingness to give me a chance. I tutor only online and, although I have a slight stutter, I speak clearly and patiently, giving you time to respond and follow the lesson material with me. God bless!
