I've been a full-time developer since 2016, and currently the CTO at a software company. I have lead teams of other React/React Native/JavaScript/Python/PHP developers in creating software platforms. I enjoy unit testing as well as code coverage and have experience with Mocha, JUnit, Sonarqube, and Jest frameworks. In the development teams I am involved with, I act as a scrum master and enjoy leading teams through the agile process of behavior-driven development with user stories, sprint planning, retrospectives, and review.

I also have an extensive amount of experience in the AWS Amazon Web Services cloud setting up EC2s, Auto Scaling groups, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch, S3, Lambdas, DynamoDB, IAM, and more. I have experience with CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy, Bamboo, Azure Pipelines, Github Actions, Jenkins, and other CI/CD platforms. I am well versed in Linux, Ubuntu, RedHat, Amazon Linux, CentOS, the command line, and other server infrastructure configurations.

Our session will start with ensuring we can see/hear each other followed by you outlining your objectives for the session. You will be screen sharing and doing all the driving/typing with me as the navigator. We will likely spend the first few minutes walking thru your current code/project structure so I can become familiar, and then quickly dive into your session agenda. I am interruptible at any time you need clarification or are not fully understanding. Finally, the sessions are recordable (on Wyzant or Zoom) for you to replay and review the items covered.

Knowledgeable about AWS, React, and Node

I have been taking lesson from various tutors here in Wyzant for a while, in React, Node, and AWS. To me, Matt's lessons are the best. I feel I get all my money's worth. Matt does not waste time, it's easy to see how much experience he has since he knows his material really well. In his lesson's he tries to make sure you understand everything your covering while at the same time making sure you get your work done.
