If you're looking for a tutor who has actually stood at the front of a classroom and made history and computer science come alive for students, you've found the right person.
With a Bachelor's in History from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master's in Political Science from Liberty University, I bring genuine academic depth to every session. But more than credentials, I bring 8 years of hands-on classroom experience teaching at both the middle school and high school level in Indiana's public school system.
Over the years I've taught virtually every general education history course in Indiana's curriculum, including dual credit college-level political science courses — meaning my students didn't just pass, they earned real college credit. I've also developed and written practice AP exams, so I know exactly what it takes to prepare students for high-stakes testing.
What makes me a little different? I've also crossed over into computer science, teaching it at the middle school level and even helping design a pathway that allows middle schoolers to earn a high school CS credit — a solution I helped build from the ground up when Indiana rolled out its new graduation plan.
Whether your student is struggling to connect with history, needs to demystify coding, or just needs someone patient and encouraging in their corner — I tailor every session to them. No cookie-cutter lessons. Just real, flexible, and engaging support built around how your student actually learns.
