Bio

I'm currently a third-year law student at Indiana University with a professional background in internal audit and regulatory compliance. Before law school, I spent 10 years working in regulatory compliance in finance, where I managed audit engagements, prepared SOX compliance documentation, and built internal control frameworks. Instead of teaching only abstract textbook material, I explain how ideas and concepts work in practice.

I've helped classmates and peers throughout law school with everything from legal writing and research methodology to breaking down complex regulatory frameworks. My approach is conversational and patient. I start by identifying where a student is getting stuck, then work backward to fill in the gaps rather than just re-explaining the same material repeatedly.

I'm available for one-on-one online sessions and comfortable working with high school students through college-level coursework. My strongest subjects include accounting, business law, economics, government, political science, and essay writing. I'm also happy to help with general study skills, test preparation, and research methods. I have young children at home, so I understand the value of making every session count!

Econometrics

Econometrics

I excelled in econometrics while I attained my degree in economics, and have spent over seven years applying those principles professionally in banking compliance. My work in fair lending analysis requires regular use of regression modeling, statistical significance testing, and disparate impact analysis to evaluate whether lending practices comply with federal regulations. I focus on helping students bridge the gap between textbook theory and real-world application of econometric tools.
Legal Writing

Legal Writing

I'm a third-year law student at Indiana University where I've completed extensive coursework in legal research and writing, including successful competition in moot court. My legal writing experience spans research memos, case briefs, persuasive motions, and policy analysis. Before law school, I spent years in regulatory compliance and internal audit writing professional reports, audit findings, and training materials for banking executives, so I understand how to write clearly and persuasively for audiences who don't have time for fluff. Whether you're working on your first IRAC essay, struggling to structure a brief, or trying to tighten up your professional writing style, I can help you build a process that makes legal writing feel less overwhelming and more methodical.
Political Science

Political Science

I'm a third-year law student at Indiana University with years of professional experience navigating the intersection of government regulation and private industry. My work in compliance has given me a firsthand understanding of how political institutions, administrative agencies, and legislative processes actually function beyond what textbooks cover. I've completed coursework in constitutional law, administrative law, and public policy, and I competed in moot court, where I argued cases involving government power and individual rights. Whether you're taking an intro to American government course, studying for an AP exam, or working through upper-level courses in political theory, public administration, or constitutional issues, I can help you connect abstract concepts to how the system actually works in practice.
Public Speaking

Public Speaking

I hosted a podcast for three years, which gave me extensive experience structuring ideas clearly, speaking confidently on camera and in audio formats, and engaging an audience in real time. I successfully competed in moot court at Indiana University, where I developed skills in persuasive oral argument, thinking on my feet under pressure, and presenting complex information to critical audiences. I also regularly deliver regulatory training sessions to banking professionals, which requires breaking down dense compliance material into clear, accessible presentations that hold a room's attention. Whether you're preparing for a class presentation, a debate, a job interview, or a public-facing role, I can help you organize your thoughts, control your nerves, and deliver with confidence.
