Hi, I'm Ashley and I'm a math teacher who loves working with students! I understand that math may not be your favorite subject, but I want to help you gain confidence in your math abilities and grow to love math. My love for math & working with students led me to an undergraduate degree in Mathematics Education, which certifies me to teach middle school and high school mathematics. Hi, I'm Ashley and I'm a math teacher who loves working with students! I understand that math may not be your favorite subject, but I want to help you gain confidence in your math abilities and grow to love math. My love for math & working with students led me to an undergraduate degree in Mathematics Education, which certifies me to teach middle school and high school mathematics. I graduated and began teaching full-time in 2021. I taught high school for one year before switching to teaching middle school. Before I graduated with my teaching license, I worked as a tutor for an online educational company.

I have tons of experience tutoring students. I teach full-time at a public middle school, where I currently teach 7th Grade Math, Pre-Algebra, and High School Geometry. In my past employment, I taught Algebra 1 at a local high school, hosted virtual ACT prep sessions with up to 20 students, and tutored 1000+ hours of Algebra 1 through AP Calculus AB.

As a full-time teacher and tutor, I have learned that every student has unique needs and have learned to explain difficult concepts in multiple ways. I feel that I can be a great teacher and tutor for you. I respond to messages within 12 hours (I teach full-time, so I am not always able to respond immediately to messages!).
