I took some time after graduating to work full time in the healthcare industry, and realized it wasn't a fit for me. I went back to school to get my Master's of Science in Education for Counselor Education, where I ultimately discovered I am happiest helping, consulting, teaching, and facilitating. I have tutoring experience working individually with someone on the English language, as well as teaching 4 different college level career courses with online components.
I worked during my graduate program at the university's career services office where I gained experience career counseling students of all majors, returning adults, and military students. I have presented at conferences on career development and served on the board of a state career development association for 5 years. I have 3+ years as a professional career coach where I became a certified practitioner in the MBTI and Strong assessments, and have taught professional career development classes for the Kelley School of Business since January 2018 where we utilize the Keirsey Temperament Sorter. I am qualified to coach you on resumes, cover letters, interviewing, networking, career exploration, choosing your major, graduate school, alternative paths for PhD students, job searching, career fair prep, personality, and more.
