Do you need help with a biology-related course? Look no further; I am here to help. I am a recent Genetics PhD graduate and current postdoctoral fellow. Having researched therapeutic approaches to combating cancer and autoimmune diseases. I have over 8 years of research experience, several publications, and experience using a variety of molecular, biochemical, and computational approaches to investigate biological questions. Through my research experience, I have gained expertise in many aspects of biology, including genetics, epigenetics, and cell signaling. I have also had the pleasure of mentoring several students while conducting research, and I enjoy getting students excited about biology.
In addition to mentoring students, I have 3 years of experience teaching college courses in molecular biology, cell biology, and genetics. Through my teaching experience, I have found that it is helpful for students to simplify complex topics to the most fundamental concepts. I then work with students to apply those concepts, before adding layers of complexity. I am happy to adapt my tutoring style to fit the needs of my students. My top priorities are that students learn and are successful in their courses.
