I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor's degree in English, and a minor in Political Science. I then joined the United States Marine Corps as an Officer and spent five years of my life learning how to fly aircraft for the military. I have a broad variety of experience in the types of schools I have attended, from the physicality of The Basic School in Quantico, VA to the focus required in primary flight training. This has given me an informed perspective on the struggles students can face when learning a new subject, and I take pride in my ability to meet a student where they are.

I have my degree in English Literature, but I have also studied history, philosophy, political science, and mathematics. I normally focus on running small study groups, as I believe that a small group of people learn far more effectively than a single person. However, not all students have a small group of focused individuals who they can rely on for studying, and a tutor can help bridge the gap when school alone is not meeting all of an individual's learning needs. I primarily have experience tutoring people who are already established in their career, and are looking to learn something new or switch into a different career, though I have some experience tutoring college students as well. I would be happy to work with someone of any demographic.
