I'm currently a master's student working on a degree in Environmental Education. My undergraduate studies were in Environmental Science and Biology. I focus mainly on ecology and big picture environmental ideas. Areas like chemistry and molecular and cellular biology are not my strong suits.

I understand the frustration of being bored with school and feeling like it is pointless. Which is why I strive to make education more exciting. I enjoy bringing the environment into all of my teaching regardless of the topic and try to make the work feel meaningful. For me, when the classwork is put in a meaningful frame, I'm more likely to understand and enjoy it.

I have taken many different field courses in undergrad including Ecology. I worked at a field station for about three years. I am currently working on a master's in Environmental Education.
