Hello! My name is Heather! I grew up in Chicago. When I grew up, I wanted to be a lawyer. I started my education journey with a Bachelors in Psychology. I thought it was a good foundation for anything I would do in life. At the end of college my dad suggested I should get a Master’s degree in education instead of a law degree. He thought it was something I could always use and would be needed by others. When I started my Master’s degree that was when I fell in love with teaching. That love never left! It makes me feel good to help students figure out what is confusing them and make it fun and easy to learn. I spend all the time I can with my boxer Ellie, and I love to read.
