I am currently a tenured mathematics professor at a local university, and I have been at this institution since 2001. I have an undergraduate degree in mathematics and a Ph.D. in mathematics. I have been been tutoring mathematics in many situations since I was in high school. I have experience teaching and tutoring mathematics across the curriculum at the college/university, high school, and developmental levels. I also have several years of experience serving as a reader for Advanced Placement Calculus exams. I also have experience mentoring undergraduate research students in mathematics primarily in mathematical biology and low dimensional topology.

I tutor in all areas of mathematics and will gladly work to help students succeed in their mathematics studies and on their AP, ACT and SAT exams. I am eager to help my students succeed with their course work and develop study habits, strategies, and confidence that will help them beyond their current course content. Throughout my teaching and tutoring experience, I have worked with high school, college/university, and adult students. For students needing tutoring help with a summer mathematics course, remediation, or just getting ready or ahead for the next school year, I am accepting new students.
