I hold a degree in Hospitality Management from Iowa State University, where I also tutored peers in accounting and nutrition. I hold a degree in Hospitality Management from Iowa State University, where I also tutored peers in accounting and nutrition. Those early experiences showed me how much I enjoy helping others learn by breaking down complex material into clear, approachable steps. Since then, I’ve spent six years working as an operations manager and project manager, where I’ve trained and coached colleagues in everything from financial reports to new systems and professional development.
My tutoring style is patient, structured, and adaptable. I focus on meeting students where they are, identifying what they already understand, and building from there with practical, real-world examples. I’ve worked with high school and college students in one-on-one and small-group settings, as well as mentoring adults in professional environments, which has taught me to adjust my methods for different ages and learning styles. My goal is to make learning encouraging, confidence-building, and ultimately effective.
