At Northwestern, I was also a Writing Tutor at the university writing center so I have much experience with brainstorming, proofreading, and rewriting all kinds of papers. I double majored in French while at Northwestern, and have spent the last two years getting my masters degree in France! I’m truly passionate about the language and have spent over 10 years perfecting its grammatical and syntactical difficulties and immersing myself in French culture, as I currently live in Paris.
A long-time reader and lover of literature, I have been able to transfer these skills into teaching. I believe in patience, immersive and conversational teaching methods that will allow students not only to succeed on one particular test, but to become a better reader and writer as a whole. Over the last few years, I have further sharpened my pedagogical skills as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Lublin, Poland, and as a university lecturer at Cergy Paris University in France.
