I am an experienced elementary and special education teacher with a background and additional training in dual-language programs, English learners, and bilingual education.

I have experience as a homebound tutor of students with disabilities as well. I enjoy working with children and their families to provide meaningful leaning experiences to help them reach their goals!

I have experience teaching math in kindergarten through fifth grade. I have attended additional professional development about developing number sense in the primary grades and using assessments to develop targeted lessons to meet student needs.

I am a licensed bilingual (Spanish) and EL teacher and have experience teaching in Bilingual (Spanish/English) classrooms. In my current teaching position, I support students with disabilities who are enrolled in a dual language program by providing reading, writing, and math instruction in Spanish.

I am an experienced special education teacher and understand the developmental stages of writing. I am able to provide targeted instruction to strengthen each student’s writing skills.

I have experience and training in structured language programs, including a multi sensory approach, as well as many years of experience teaching developing readers.

Please contact me to discuss your learning needs! I can also provide homework support in English or Spanish, or small group tutoring for students in dual-language programs hoping to develop listening and speaking skills! I am accepting one more student for summer tutoring and I’m happy to set up a free consultation!
