He’s very responsive and flexible in arranging sessions, but more importantly he is quick to connect with the student and deliver a valuable learning experience. Joe assisted with preparation for AP physics exam. He was very patient, knowledgeable and flexible with scheduling. He also provided material for preparation which was very helpful.

I still remember his tutoring sessions. He made Physics make sense within such a short period of time. We had two sessions together, which was all I could afford at this time, and those two sessions taught me more about Physics than my professors in two semesters could. I can't thank him enough for making physics easy and actually fun! He didn't judge or make me feel like an idiot for not knowing or understanding right away. He just altered his teaching style to help. Looking back, I wish I would have had his sessions in my first Physics course on the first day. This would have built the foundation for Physics 2 and I would have been more confident (and a lot less tears). I would highly recommend him to any single person on their first day of class when they feel overwhelmed.

Joe was incredibly flexible with a mildly panicked 10th grader late at night before a physics final. He found a creative way to help her take advantage of his help despite her resistance. And he did it at midnight his timezone. So much, much thanks.
