Hi! I'm Kristen, a current medical student at Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. I graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in chemistry and political science.
I have four years of tutoring experience in general chemistry, general biology, organic chemistry, and MCAT Tutoring (with a focus on chemistry and biology concepts). I received a 96th percentile MCAT score prior to applying to medical school and enjoy assisting students in mastering science concepts. For an average of 10-20 hours each week as a full-time college student I tutored students 1:1 in addition to being a Supplemental Instructor both Introductory and Organic Chemistry courses. Through these roles I have developed skills in making tutoring worksheets, exam reviews, and providing study skill consultations.
As I continue my medical education, I am passionate about helping students achieve these similar goals through tutoring in high school or college level biology and chemistry. I approach each tutoring session by evaluating a student's unique learning style to help my students achieve their goals.
