Hello, I am Mariam. I'm a current medical student, who recently passed STEP 2 CK. I currently applying for Residency Match and doing elective rotations in four hospitals and many outpatient clinics, here in the suburbs of Chicago. I passed STEP 1 USMLE exam, CBSE NBME exam with a 68, all the core NBME shelf exams, CCSE NBME with a 228, and Step 2 CK USMLE exam. I wrote my thesis on brain maturation for medical school, which was published and can be found on Pubmed and ncbi.nlm.nih.gov under 'Maturation of the Adolescent Brain'. In University, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science, majoring in anthropology and minoring in chemistry. I was also in the National Honor's Society during high school.

During my medical school I was selected to tutor anatomy, embryology, medical ethics, and pharmacology. I also have a history of tutoring experience well before that. It started in High school, where I tutored math and continued into University, where I tutored students preparing for the SATs and MCAT.
