Hi. My name is Anastasiya and I'm a college freshman in Math-CS and Jazz Saxophone at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I've always helped my peers with school subjects whenever they need it. I was an honors student in high school and am now working towards honors in Math and CS in college. My mother and grandmother were both math teachers, and I consider my teaching no different.

I've always helped my peers with school subjects whenever they need it. I was an honors student in high school and am now working towards honors in Math and CS in college. I studied Mandarin, music, and some math abroad in Taiwan as a recipient of the State Department's NSLI-Y scholarship. I am certified as an advanced Mandarin speaker, and know both Traditional and a Simplified Chinese. Character history and construction is my hobby, so if you struggle with writing or reading Chinese, I have a lot of advice I picked up on my own and in Taiwan that I'd love to share with you.
Music wise, I am a classically trained flute player and bop tenor player. I am a dual degree student enrolled in both a Bachelor's of Science for Math-CS and a Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Tenor Performance. I can also teach music theory, ear training, and harmony.
Send me a message if you're interested. Open to commuting to either Downtown Urbana or Downtown Champaign, and I'm also open to online lessons.
