I’m Anthony, a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor’s degree focused on thermal systems, and I specialize in helping students truly understand—not just memorize—challenging concepts in math, physics, and engineering.
I’ve been tutoring since high school and continued through my final two years of college, working with both individuals and small groups in subjects like algebra, calculus, statistics, physics, and introductory engineering courses. Through this experience, I’ve learned how to adapt to different learning styles and explain complex ideas in a simple, intuitive way. My tutoring approach focuses on building a strong foundation through active learning and practice. I don’t just walk students through problems—I help them understand why concepts work, so they can confidently solve new problems on their own. I also reinforce prerequisite concepts when needed, ensuring students aren’t just keeping up, but actually improving.
As someone who regularly sought out tutoring myself, I understand both sides of the learning process. I know how important it is to have a patient, engaging tutor who can break things down clearly and move at the right pace. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their performance, and feel more comfortable tackling difficult subjects. I’m happy to work with any materials students or parents provide to best support their success.
Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a session—I’d be glad to help.
