Hello! I’m Daniel. I hold a Biochemistry Honors B.S. from the University of Illinois Springfield (UIS), graduating in Spring 2025 (3.74 GPA, 5x Dean’s List, Lincoln/Aim High Merit Scholar). At the SIU SOM, I helped develop a cell-based assay and defended the research at the 2025 ASBMB Annual Meeting, while also leading journal clubs through UIS’s ASBMB Student Chapter by guiding fellow classmates to critically analyze basic science articles. In addition, I have worked as a licensed K-12 substitute teacher and tutor, assistant coached Scholastic Bowl for two years, and coordinated hands-on clinical experiences for high school students wishing to go into health and medicine.
My program is specialized for students who understand life science but lose points when B/B passages ask them to apply concepts in unfamiliar ways. Many students do not have a true content problem. They have memorized amino acids, reviewed pathways, completed Qbanks, and drilled high yield Anki, yet their score remains stuck. The issue often appears deeper in the passages.
I personally scored a 121 on my first diagnostic and later earned a 129 (90th percentile) on the real exam. My approach identifies the underlying cause before building catered analytical reasoning skills. Students miss the same question for different reasons, so the solution must be individualized. One student improved B/B by two points and earned a 516 overall within two weeks, another raised their total score by 10 points. I can’t promise these same results, but I can promise an evidence-based system.
Before our first session, complete a diagnostic or practice section. We will identify your primary gap, work through passages, adjust your study plan, and create microdrills from your mistakes, etc.. The goal is to make B/B reasoning automatic by exam day.
Intervene. Diagnose. Execute. Not just practice.
If your B/B score is stuck, feel free to contact me with questions. My schedule is flexible and I’m quick to respond throughout the day. I am happy to help!
