Hi, I'm Ola! I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Lagos with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Chemical Engineering, and I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from New York University. My strong foundation in physics, chemistry, and math has enabled me to create effective, personalized tutoring strategies for my students.

With nearly eight years of teaching, tutoring, and mentoring experience, I understand the challenges students face and how to support their success. My approach focuses on creating a personalized, engaging environment that caters to each student's unique needs and learning style. I also recognize that difficult topics may require revisiting foundational concepts, so I include clear overviews of these when necessary. I welcome feedback to continuously improve and help students achieve their academic goals.

My expertise includes thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, transport phenomena, mathematics (algebra and calculus), and fundamental chemistry and physics. I am skilled at simplifying complex concepts into clear and accessible explanations. To ensure we can both make the most of our time, I recommend that students provide the material at least two days in advance.
