I teach AP Microeconomics, AP US History, AP US Government and Politics, and AP Comparative Government. My students routinely score higher than state and national averages on all four tests. I am a reader / scorer for the College Board for AP US Government and Politics which has been the greatest gift that I can give my students - insight into what the College Board really is looking for in the writing portions. I am a two time graduate of Illinois State University - one degree is in political science and one is in social science education. I am also a graduate of the American Military University with a graduate degree in European History. I enjoy working one on one with students to help them master content, see new ways to solve problems, and build confidence in their abilities. My tutoring philosophy is simple - meet every student where they are and design a path to success together.
