A huge influence during this time was "Knox" who used very simple characters but had a very fun style of animation. As a technology enthusiast, it was only natural that I ventured into the world of computer graphics.
I spend most of my time modeling, rigging, and animating in Maya or creating textures in Photoshop and Mudbox. I could spend all of my time doing just that. Maya is a really incredible software suite.
I recently graduated from DePaul University which has an incredible computer animation program. I had the chance to work with some very talented individuals on several group projects. The professors were also very insightful and were always there to help me on my personal projects.
Although I enjoy every stage of the production pipeline, I excel the most at rigging and animation. I have a great deal of coding experience and can automate most of the rigging process with MEL or Python scripting.
