Greetings! Imagine a world where math isn't a source of frustration, but a realm of endless possibilities waiting to be explored. My goal is to help you understand complex concepts at a high level so that you can accomplish your academic goals and also find some joy along the way.
Some of my credentials include tutoring in person and online for the past 5 years with a small company, and independently. I graduated from Aurora University with a degree in Mathematics and an emphasis in secondary education where I learned math at a high rigor and also discovered how to teach to the student's needs. From there, I student-taught and now teach at a high school in Aurora Illinois where I have learned even more about using math and individualized teaching strategies effectively. I am also currently working on a Master's degree in Mathematics so I understand the struggle of having to grasp difficult concepts, meet deadlines, and even procrastination and I want to help you work through those difficulties.
As a current high school teacher, I have sharp skills in Algebra 1 through precalculus, so, concepts like functions, trig, stats, probability, and many others are right up my alley and we can de-mystify them together. A typical lesson will include reviewing your current materials, asking questions to figure out the specific point(s) of misunderstanding, and then working on specific, relatable problems to ensure you are ready for any other problems that might be thrown your way.
