Hello! AP Economics was easily my favorite subject to teach in the classroom (13 years experience); over those years I tried to become as involved as I could with the subject in an effort to provide the best possible experience for my students. Please note that I am no longer a classroom teacher but am still willing to help students prepare for the AP exams through tutoring.

Hello! AP Economics was easily my favorite subject to teach in the classroom (13 years experience); over those years I tried to become as involved as I could with the subject in an effort to provide the best possible experience for my students. Please note that I am no longer a classroom teacher but am still willing to help students prepare for the AP exams through tutoring.

I participated in the AP Reading (grading) for 11 years (2011-2022) and held multiple leadership roles during 6 of those years. With these experiences I gained a unique insight as to what the AP program is looking for when it comes to free-response questions and how students should effectively answer these questions. I was also contracted to be the content editor for two AP review books--"Fast Track to a 5: Preparing for the AP Microeconomics and Macroeconomics Exams (Cengage Learning)" and "AP Microeconomics & Macroeconomics All Access (REA Publishing)."

Rich is Terrific!

Rich has been working with my daughter as she prepares for the AP Macroeconomics exam. Margaret's school does not offer an AP Macro course, so she took an online course first semester and has been trying to prepare on her own. We wanted a tutor with tons of experience teaching on AP topics, and Rich was great. Margaret scored a 5 on the exam! Since Rich has been a 'reader' (what the AP system calls its graders), he not only knows the material, he knows the kinds of questions the College Board includes on the exam. We wanted Rich to tutor Margaret to earn the maximum possible credit on the free response section of the exam, and he's done just that. He's a great communicator, with students and with parents. Scheduling with him has been painless. Kudos, Rich!

An excellent teacher for helping with AP microeconomics

His teaches very carefully, making me able to understand everything that he explains clearly. By AP microeconomics, he shows to be very experienced and with full of helpful materials. His ability to design a plan for me in a limited amount of time to prepare for the test to reach my goal, telling me about some of the frequently tested or important concepts, and telling about how far for some concepts or graphs do I need to know for the test to make my prepration efficient. Also, the classes with him are totally controllable on what I myself want to get help with. which is a great thing (and meanwhile with some kindly suggestions from him).
