Hello, I'm Griffin! I graduated from Penn State with a degree in software engineering. My degree included extensive work in mathematics and programming. I have experience in many categories from physics and differential equations to Python, C++, and software architecture.
I have many years of tutoring experience which started in high school when I would volunteer to tutor middle school students after class. I continued to tutor through high school and I started tutoring as a job in university where I tutored high school students and other university students for around four years. I learned many teaching methods because of the many students I was tutoring at this time. I focus on creating a strong foundation of the basic concepts of a problem or area of learning and walkthrough complex example problems to develop a strong understanding of the whole process of problem solving.
I have taught students from middle school to university for 4-6 years at this point. I have tutored small groups of students at a time and much of my experience is from 1-on-1 tutoring. I have been a volunteer tutor and I have also tutored as a job.
Let me know if you have any questions. My schedule is very flexible, I am open to last minute meetings, late night and early morning meetings, and you can cancel up to 2 hours before a meeting
