I hold a Bachelor's degree in History and Anthropology from DePaul University, with minors in Business Administration and Classical Studies, as well as a Master's in Classical Art and Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh. My academic journey has been shaped by a deep passion for history, archaeology, and education.
I have worked in diverse university-level classrooms for 2 years, where I helped create structured, engaging, and inclusive learning environments. My lectures have covered a wide range of topics, from the environmental impacts on architecture to the political and cultural dynamics of the Roman Republic. My one-on-one work with students helped deepen their understanding of the material, both for those who were highly engaged and for those who needed additional support.
Beyond the classroom, I’ve gained extensive hands-on teaching experience. As a supervisor with South-West Archaeology Digs for 3 years, I trained and mentored students ranging from high schoolers to PhD candidates in excavation techniques, ceramic analysis, and historical interpretation. I also conducted archaeological research in Portugal, collaborating with students from Lisbon, which enriched my practical teaching and cross-cultural communication skills.
