That's why I went to school at the the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to earn my masters in teaching. I am a full time high school history teacher and it's a wonderful job! I can tutor students at any level that need help in social studies, world and American history, sociology, and psychology. I specialize in scaffolding difficult readings, note taking and study techniques and writing essays. I can also address executive functioning skills such as organization and time management. I will always have clear goals and expectations with students and parents to create a long term plan for success.
