Hello! I’m a licensed teacher with over 15 years of experience supporting students across a wide range of grade levels and subjects. I hold certifications in Generalist K–8, English Language Arts and Reading (4–8), and ELL/ESL (K–12), and I’ve worked extensively in both traditional classrooms and as a College Readiness Coordinator. I specialize in preparing students for high stakes exams including the PSAT, SAT, and ISEE exams.

With a combination of testing strategies, Desmos calculator skills, and content knowledge, my students have celebrated 100-200 point gains on their SAT scores in a short amount of time. Students who are preparing for private school exams often are able to reach scores 8 and 9 on the ISEE exam, gain confidence for interviews, and construct thoughtful essays that put their best foot forward.

What sets my approach apart is my ability to provide cross-curricular support over multiple grade levels. I help students make connections across subjects, deepening their thinking, and build confidence as independent learners. Whether a student needs support in reading, writing, math, or test preparation, I tailor instruction to meet them where they are and patiently guide them toward their goals.

I specialize in working with diverse learners, including students with ADHD, Autism, and multilingual backgrounds. My teaching style is patient, flexible, and grounded in empathy. I use clear structure, interactive strategies, and individualized pacing to create a learning environment where students feel safe to take risks and grow. Above all, I believe that every student benefits from being understood. I take the time to learn how each student thinks, communicates, and learns best so that our work together is not only effective, but empowering.

Thank you for trusting me to help your student succeed!

Very Knowledgeable and incorrigible

Erin has been teaching me for several months now, her tutelage for my GED math has been amazing, she goes at my pace and she makes sure, I understand everything and if I don't understand in the first succession we will go over it in the next. She is my first and official tutor, I would recommend her to anyone because she is just great. She only does online but either way she has made a huge difference in my understanding in math
