I have a versatile educational background. I started with an Associates of Applied Science as a Medical Assistant and later expanded my studies, receiving a Dual Bachelor of Science in Biology and in Natural Science, Doctor of Medicine as a Physician, and am currently a thesis candidate for a Doctor of Philosophy in Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology. Although my specialty is Clinical Pathology and Research, my diverse educational foundation combined with my hands-on experience has allowed me to relate to students, offering a unique and comprehensive approach to tutoring.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working as a Molecular Diagnostics Technologist, a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, and an Adjunct Professor, teaching courses in Anatomy, Physiology, Biology, Medical Ethics, and Health Science. In these roles, I have honed my ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to students of varying ages and backgrounds. Whether working one-on-one or in a classroom setting, I have a proven track record of fostering collaborative learning environments and providing timely feedback to help students achieve their goals.
My tutoring style is specific to the student. I believe in creating personalized lesson plans that incorporate a blend of hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and engaging discussions. By drawing upon my extensive experience in laboratory techniques, such as flow cytometry, FISH analysis, and PCR, I am also able to provide students with a deep understanding of the practical applications of scientific principles.
