I passed the February 2026 bar exam in large part because of Adam, who was an amazing tutor. As I was gearing up to start studying again after failing in July, I knew that bar prep companies' emphasis on passive learning would not help me pass in February, so I decided to find a tutor instead, and I am so glad that I reached out to Adam. Adam's sessions were conversations, not lectures. This helped me realize that I knew way less black letter law than I thought I did and shaped my approach to studying going forward. Verbally articulating the law and applying it to hypotheticals during lessons was much more helpful than watching a bunch of lecture videos and following along in a prewritten workbook. Property has always been my worst subject, but after working with Adam, I finally understood the law, and property questions became way less daunting. I walked into February with much more confidence, and ended up with a score high enough to practice in every jurisdiction.

I became worried during Themis prep when the graders were giving me low scores (1s and 2s) on the essays. So, I decided to hire Adam to help me with essays. Adam quickly identified my problem with essays and taught me his method to approach the MEE. I used this method on my remaining graded essays and received 4s and 5s, and of course on the bar where I passed. Adam didn’t just teach me how to fix my MEEs, throughout my lessons with him he would make sure I knew heavily tested rule statements, and pushed me to practice essays on topics I was less familiar with.
