I am a very capable algebra 1 teacher with years of math experience and the ability to address many different challenges that students face.

Biology

I have previously worked as a high school biology teacher and have tutored both high school and college biology. I have done research in genetics and will be starting medical school in the fall. I am used to adapting my teaching style to the students needs and make content relatable so that it sticks with them long term. I have had a lot of success with students who are initially struggling with the subject.

Chemistry

I am a fourth year medical student with over 7 years of experience tutoring high school and university level chemistry. I am flexible in my approach to tutoring so I can adapt to meet the needs of all of my students and explain content in a way that both makes sense to them and stays with them as they advance to higher levels of science education.

Genetics

I am a medical student who has done several years of research in genetics. I have also tutored college level genetics and taught high school genetics classes.

Psychology

I have high school teaching experience in both special education and the sciences. As a Psychology major at Loyola University Chicago I organized research projects for three years and was awarded a research fellowship during my time there. I also tutored Loyola undergrads in many psychology courses through the university's tutoring center.

USMLE

I am a 4th year medical student receiving my MD in May. After passing USMLE Step 1 and 2 I began tutoring 1st and 2nd year medical students to help with study skills, study schedule, and content mastery. Having recently been in the shoes of students preparing for the exam I understand the stressors and time restraints many students are under and work hard to be a flexible tutor and an advocate for them. My goal for each session is to make sure students not only understand the approach and answer of each question, but feel confident taking that knowledge into the hospital with them when they see patients.
