I have 10+ years of experience as an author, editor and tutor. Educationally, I attended Emerson College’s writing, literature, and publishing program. I have 10+ years of experience as an author, editor and tutor. Educationally, I attended Emerson College’s writing, literature, and publishing program. I tutored children ages 6-18 at 826 Boston, an inner-city writing and publishing center. I also worked at Jumpstart, an AmeriCorps early education program devoted to children’s learning, language, and literacy skills where I also assisted a kindergarten classroom. Through my nonprofit Witness to the World, I started five schools in Pakistan and visited two. I also taught English at an orphanage in Tanzania.
Editorially, I worked in the editorial department at Beacon Press, an independent book publisher who specializes in memoirs and nonfiction, distributed with Penguin Random House. I also worked as a copyeditor, prose reader and developmental editor for Wilde Press and Stork Magazine. My traditionally published book will be released in December 2024 with Hachette Book Group. Writing and helping children are my passion, and I look forward to helping you put words on the page!
