I am familiar with multiple formats in elementary math and have been trained in multiple curriculums. I have tutored students from 1st to 4th grade in their math skills. Each of them has shown at least 2 letter grade improvement.
Science is one of my favorite subjects. It allows you to delve deeper into topics and explore the world around us. My 9-year-old daughter loves science and we have done multiple experiments and researched many topics. I look forward to helping you get excited about learning.
I have worked and trained with many master teachers in English and Language Arts. I have been trained in the Lucy Caulkins curriculum as well as Words Their Way. I believe in meeting a child on their level and bringing them up to where they need to be.
I have been trained in Words Their Way where students are met at their level and taught spelling and grammar rules to help them become better spellers. I have used this curriculum for both 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades to meet the individual needs of my classroom of students.
