Hi, I'm a mathematics tutor looking to establish myself.

My name is Nathan. I have a bachelors in mathematics. I tutored student athletes with Northern Illinois University. For general learning, I took business and accounting courses, economics courses, international political classes to local government. I took a class in teaching differently abled individuals. I learned the basics of c++, a coding language... The list goes on.

But of course, the experiences that likely interest potential readers are my math related courses. In college, I passed calculus 2, 3, linear algebra, real analysis 1 and 2, abstract algebra 1 and 2, axiomatic geometry, differential equations, and a mathematics modeling course amongst others. The axiomatic geometry course is not your typical high school geometry course. The course involved proving some familiar geometric concepts using axioms. For example, we proved SSS and SAS triangle concepts you might know but we would have to prove the interior angles of triangle add up to 180 degrees. You would start with an axiom that states you can create a line between 2 points. It's akin to creating the English language and you are only given the letters of the alphabet. The difficulty range varies. I also spent time tutoring students in decimals using pie analogies. The point is, I have experience in all ranges of mathematics.

As for other accomplishments, I helped start a STEM organization for 3.5+ gpa students in STEM fields which I served as the Director of Legal and Business Affairs. With this organization I collaborated with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and sponsors for various projects. I also won 1st place in the 36th NIU annual math competition.
