Hi, my name is Alice, and I tutor students across a wide age range, from children as young as five through college level, adapting my teaching style to meet each learner where they are. I tutor the MCAT as well as a comprehensive range of math and science subjects, with a strong emphasis on building deep understanding rather than rote memorization. My approach focuses on how exams and coursework assess reasoning, helping students translate what they know into confident, consistent performance. I have worked with children with learning disabilities such as dyslexia and ADHD.
I tutor all levels of mathematics up through differential equations and cover science subjects from introductory courses through physical chemistry. This includes general and organic chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and both basic and advanced physiology. I also teach cadaver-based lab anatomy and help students clearly connect anatomical structure with physiological function. Whether working with young students building foundational skills or advanced learners preparing for rigorous exams, I tailor each session to the student’s learning style and academic goals. I got a 516 on my MCAT and I currently make MCAT plans and help students study to get their goal scores on the MCAT.
In addition to content instruction, I support students with personalized study plans, burnout prevention, and confidence-building strategies that extend beyond individual lessons. My goal is to help students at every stage develop strong problem-solving skills, academic independence, and long-term confidence.
