Hi, I'm Richard. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business. With a degrees in Human Resource Management, I went on to start a Commodities Trading Firm in my early 20s. As a Managing Partner, I onboarded new hires and was in charge of their training, which ranged from developing their individual skills, to improving their personal discipline. I honestly think the success I had in molding young hires into capable employees was due to my experience as an overnight summer camp counselor in the woods of Minnesota. Every summer I would have a cabin of 8-10 boys aged 11yo-13yo and it was my job to teach them everything from wilderness survival skills to social skills. Whether working with kids or young adults, the best results came from understanding people as individuals, and then tailoring the teaching/training experience for each person. This is the same approach I use in tutoring to effectively teach the curriculum based on the specific needs of different students.
