My teaching experience spans both university and K–12 settings. I have served as a teaching assistant for a university-level materials science course, supporting a cohort of over 160 students through weekly recitations and one-on-one office hours. In that role, I mentor students through challenging topics such as crystal structures, phase diagrams, and mechanical properties, while delivering constructive feedback on assignments and exams. Prior to that, I completed an internship as a teaching assistant at Twain Elementary School, where I worked with elementary students in a classroom setting, leading group discussions and designing individualized learning activities to reinforce STEM concepts.
Across both settings, I prioritize meeting students where they are, breaking down abstract ideas into concrete, relatable examples, and adjusting my approach based on each student's pace and learning style.
