I recently earned my Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois Chicago. Throughout college, I completed extensive coursework in biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, physics, and mathematics while preparing for graduate-level entrance exams. I am also working toward clinical certifications, including Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), which allows me to connect classroom concepts to real-world healthcare applications. My academic journey has taught me the importance of building a strong foundation, and I enjoy helping students develop that same confidence in their studies.

For the past several years, I have worked as a swim instructor, teaching children ranging from preschool age to teenagers in both one-on-one and small group settings. This experience has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain challenging concepts in ways that match each student's learning style. I have worked with beginners, students who needed extra encouragement, and children with different learning needs, always focusing on creating a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as they learn.

My tutoring style emphasizes understanding rather than memorization. I break complex topics into simple, manageable steps and encourage students to think through problems instead of simply providing answers. Whether a student is preparing for a quiz, working through homework, or building confidence in science or math, I tailor each lesson to their individual goals and pace. My objective is to help students improve academically while developing the study skills and critical thinking abilities that will continue to benefit them long after our tutoring sessions are over.
