I am excited about the opportunity to help you or your child build confidence and excel academically! With a strong foundation in Physics and Mathematics, combined with years of tutoring experience, I specialize in making complex concepts approachable, clear, and engaging.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Mississippi, graduating summa cum laude with a 3.92 GPA. During my undergraduate studies, I contributed to research on the Belle II experiment, where I developed valuable analytical and problem-solving skills. I am now pursuing my Master’s degree in Physics at Stony Brook University, where my graduate research focuses on analyzing data from a NASA-funded lunar radio astronomy project. This work has strengthened my skills in programming, data analysis, and modeling, which I use to make math and science both practical and relatable for students.

As a tutor, I have worked with students from elementary through college level. I have led after-school math programs and provided one-on-one support tailored to each student’s needs. My specialties include Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, and AP/IB Physics, along with standardized test preparation for the ACT and SAT. For advanced students, I can provide support in university-level Physics courses such as Classical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Quantum Mechanics, and Statistical Physics, as well as higher-level Mathematics including Actuarial Science, Advanced Statistics, Real Analysis, and Abstract Algebra.

Every student learns differently, and I adapt my teaching style to match, using visual aids, real-world applications, or step-by-step explanations depending on what resonates most. My priority is ensuring that students develop a strong grasp of the fundamentals before moving on to advanced topics.

I look forward to helping you reach your academic goals, whether that means boosting classroom performance, preparing for a big exam, or building confidence in problem-solving skills.

Thorough and clear tutor

Graham does a great job explaining things in a calm, clear manner. He doesn't go too fast to where I can't keep up with what he's saying, but he also doesn't go too slow to where we aren't maximizing our lesson time. Graham continually checks to see if I understand him as he is explaining concepts and problems.
