I've been tutoring math since high school. I started at Math Factor Inc. in Naperville, IL, where I worked with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, teaching anything from foundational arithmetic and algebra through high school math, including competitive math preparation for students aiming at AMC, AIME, and similar competitions. During my senior year at Columbia, I tutored middle schoolers on the Upper West Side, helping them stay on top of their school coursework week to week.
I work with students one-on-one and in small group settings, both in person and over Zoom. The subjects I cover include SAT and ACT math prep, competitive math (AMC 8/10/12, AIME prep), middle and high school math through precalculus, AP Calculus AB/BC, AP Statistics, college-level calculus, probability, and statistics.
My approach is hands-on and flexible, and I tailor each session to what the student actually needs, whether that is filling in foundational gaps, working through current coursework, or exploring harder material. My goal is for the student to build real confidence in their math abilities and stay on track with where they want to be.
Available evenings and weekends for sessions in Manhattan and Brooklyn, or online via Zoom for students anywhere.
