We worked on cylindrical shells and disks and washers in Calculus, and it was my first lesson, so I wasn’t able to give him materials beforehand. Despite that, Mr. Freeman had a sound fundamental understanding of what was going on and how to answer my questions. He helped me move from just memorizing equations to actually understanding what I was doing.

Connects ideas with conceptual examples
Bill consistently helps me make sure I have a solid understanding of the material through examples and connecting things conceptually together. In school we are shown examples and just told how to do it, Bill makes sure I understand the WHY behind it and it really helps me feel confident in my AP Physics 1 class.
