As a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, I bring both technical expertise and a passion for helping others grow. Throughout my academic journey, I developed a deep understanding of systems thinking, data analysis, simulation modeling, and process optimization. I'm well-equipped to break down complex concepts in a way that’s accessible to students at different learning levels.

My tutoring experience is rooted in both peer and volunteer-based settings. At UIUC, I frequently supported fellow engineering students in subjects like statistics, operations research, and supply chain management. I’ve worked with both high school and college-aged students in one-on-one and small group environments, adapting my teaching style to suit their unique needs. Whether walking through practice problems step-by-step, building confidence in mathematical reasoning, or reviewing project reports for clarity and structure, my approach is always patient, structured, and grounded in real-world relevance.

I believe the key to effective tutoring is understanding where a student is coming from, both academically and emotionally. Many students face anxiety or self-doubt, especially in technical subjects, and I work to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I use active learning techniques, real-life examples, and personalized feedback to ensure my students not only learn the material, but retain it with confidence. Tutoring is more than helping someone pass a class, it's about empowering them to think critically and problem-solve independently, and that’s the mindset I bring to every session.
