Hello! I am currently a junior at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, pursuing an Electrical Engineering Degree with a minor in physics. Some of my academic achievements include scoring a 5 on the AP Physics 1, AP Physics C: Mechanics, and AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism exams, as well as scoring a 36 on the ACT Math section. I have also taken many other advanced physics courses at the University of Illinois, including: Quantum and Thermal (Calculus-based) physics, Fields and Waves, and Semiconductor Electronics.
My weekday hours are mostly open in the evenings, but I am much more flexible on the weekends. I am willing to work with various students, in different STEM subjects including Physics and Math. Parents and students can bring material, but if not, I have lesson plans and worksheets to cover. My ultimate goal is to assist students in their specific goals and help them thoroughly understand the 'how?' and 'why?' in their material. When working with students, I will be willing to work at a pace that is comfortable for them, while simultaneously pushing them where they can reach their full potential.
I am particularly familiar with the AP Physics 1 curriculum, having also assisted family friends with some coursework in the past. But I am also capable of tutoring both Physics Cs. Understanding these courses structurally will allow me to guide different students successfully. I plan to use practice exams, simulations, and AP problems to fully support my students.
