My name is David K and I am a devoted educator of over ten years. I began teaching back in 2013 after completing my undergraduate degree at Bowling Green State University. In the beginning, I taught English as a Second Language to high school students in Mongolia. I then moved on to ELA, and settled into middle school science after completing my M.Ed at Moreland University in 2019. Currently, I teach grade 6 ELA and science and am enjoying every minute of my time in class!

Over the years, I have taught many grades and multiple subjects, but I am especially passionate about middle school science. There is just so much to learn about the magnificent world we live in, and I love indulging students' curiosity as we explore the wonders of reality. Plus, middle schoolers are just the most fun age group to teach! Using real-world examples, relevant questioning, and lots of technology, I can always get students excited about the content. And with my heavy focus on reflection, my students consistently need to consider their own progress and achievement.
In short, I love teaching and I look forward to helping you learn and grow!
