Hi! I'm Channuri, and I just graduated with the highest honors from Prospect High School. After this summer, I will attend the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to study mechanical engineering. During high school, I always challenged myself with the classes I took, such as AP Calculus BC, Calculus 3, and even Differential Equations. I have gotten a 1510 on my SAT with a 790 on math and 720 on English, along with a 1490 on my PSAT, which led to me becoming a National Merit Finalist. My favorite memories in my math classes have always stemmed from my friends and me helping each other solve difficult problems.
I have experience tutoring at a Mathnasium, where I have tutored kids with ages ranging from 4 to 18. I have worked at Mathnasium for over a year, and I have learned how to break down complex problems into simple steps. I have experience with both one-on-one tutoring and group tutoring of up to four students at a time. My teaching method is to go through each step of a problem and make sure that my students understand why each step works. I love being able to see my students grow and become more confident in their own skills.
My number one priority is to make sure that my students get the help that they need, so any additional information that will help your child succeed is always welcome. I always try my best to send out a quick response. Please feel free to contact me for any additional information or to schedule a lesson!
