I have over 13 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer. I am currently working as a full-time full stack developer in Chicago. As Software Engineer, I have developed applications in Java for investment banks, healthcare firms, law consultant firms and entertainment firms. My work enabled me to architect Java-based solutions and lead/train teams to deliver the solutions on time. It is because of this my interest and hence my skills in training and mentoring grew further. I have wide in experience in training and mentoring professionals/recent graduates who are new to Java, Angular, Javascript, React and professional world. I know how to bring the best out of people and want to extend my hand to aspiring Full stack professionals.

I am proficient in Java language and its frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. I also have good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, SQL, Running Code Quality Tools, and Ant and Maven Build. My specialization in Java is writing programs on multi-threading and concurrency.

I have strong passion towards teaching and want to help the students learn Java. I know very well that every student has its own strengths and weaknesses and therefore I adjust my pace to the pace of the student. I teach the concepts by using practical and real time examples to keep the sessions fun and interesting. In the world Internet, access to excessive information is available and sometimes, more than offering help, it actually confuses you more. I am here to resolve all your confusions and help you gain the understanding of concepts by utilizing my all hard earned experience.

I prefer tutoring on weekends but if my schedule or time permits, I can consider tutoring for few hours after 6 PM CST on weekdays too.

Knowledgeable with Java

Had a very long program (10 classes) and the classes were not small. Was able to work with me, help me understand my mistakes, and give me a better understanding of manipulating objects and static variables from classes other than themselves, despite my terrible internet connection and screen sharing dropping out. If you want someone who can quickly understand what you are working on, and how to fix/help your program, Vinay is your guy!
