HI! My name is Robin, I'm a twenty-three year old from Illinois. I enjoy hobbies such as art and photography, so much so, that I am currently enrolled in college online through the University of Southern New Hampshire to achieve an Associates Degree in Digital Photography. Not only will this degree benefit my personal growth as a photographer, but will also provide me with the necessary means needed to obtain a temporary substitute teaching license as I continue my education in pursuit of a Bachelors in Secondary Education and or Sports Management.
I fell in love with the idea of teaching after working as an accredited dog trainer at PetSmart, which is a job where teaching the people occurs more than teaching the dog. I was fortunate enough to have the pleasure of working with a retired teacher herself who was so grateful after graduating her puppy class, gave me a handwritten note of appreciation thanking me for my help. To this day that letter is what truly inspired me to pursue a career in teaching. Since then I have obtained much more experience including 30 hours of classroom observation through Lincoln Land Community College as well as heighted knowledge in basic subjects such as Math, English, History etc.
I intend to make an impact in this world either through my creative mind, helpful nature or both. I will continue to chase my passions and gain more experience now including Tutoring with Wyzant!
